I really cannot say enough about this album. One of the most (if not the most) vocally aggressive albums I have ever heard in my life. Zach de la Rocha gives an unparalleled performance of lyrical and vocal musicianship. Listen to "Freedom" to grasp the rawness of his voice in the outro. Tom Morello's ability to write killer riffs shines throughout the entire album, with Tom Commerford and Brad Wilk providing the necessary rhythm section that could not be a strong backbone to the LP. Another thing worth noting is the beautiful mastering on these track, defying the laws of the loudness wars. The separation of each instrument is astounding and is one of the best examples of well done mastering in the past two decades among the rock genre. This critically acclaimed rap metal CD is one absolutely everyone should listen to before they die.
